 SANTA

 ANITA

2015 - 2017

Westfield Santa Anita was reimagined to better reflect the aspirations and demographics of a wealthier customer base that wasn’t always shopping at the center. New stone flooring, glass rails, landscape and custom lighting and furniture transformed the interiors to attract upscale tenants and shoppers. The center court, a vast space was made more human scaled through hanging trellis elements, large custom light fixtures and a high contrast palette combined with over scaled furniture / planter fixtures and large bamboo groves. A food precinct called the Laneway connected two distinct districts with a market hall collection of unique local Asian food stalls and a feature Asian flagship restaurant. Seamlessly transforming from a sky lit passage to a covered outdoor space, the foodie focused Laneway captures the essence of Asian street food precincts yet still appeals to our upscale customers.
